As part of the effort to support the expansion of the Turks & Caicos National Museum at Grace Bay Village and to raise awareness and funds through sponsorships and pledges, the Museum is hosting an event on Saturday, March 20, 2010 at the luxurious Regent Palms called the COBO Event.

The evening will include a silent auction, local artist’s art sale, raffles, a fun photo booth by talented Christine Morden, and a limited edition historical photo sale donated to the Museum by Brenda Ludington and Jimmy Mc Collum. A special cultural show by David Bowen will take us on a journey through traditional dance and music.

The highlight of the evening will be the unveiling of the architectural drawings and model built of the new Museum designed by John Thomson and Jeff Lee from Lee and Astwood Architects.

Together with the Food & Beverage team at the Regent Palms, we can expect signature drinks and a delicious array of finger foods incorporating the traditional foods of the islands.
