Grethe Seim’s collection is only the start. Messages in a bottle are an important way to measure how and where rubbish on our local beaches started its journey, to make contact with a wide variety of people and to teach more people about the Turks and Caicos Islands. So if you find a bottle with a message in tell the Museum. Better still send it to the Museum unopened. We will carefully open it, respond if we can and keep you informed of what happens.
This message was received on February 3, 1978 from Florence Rollins and Thomas Moore of Lacoma, New Hampshire, while on a cruise.
