Nature’s Story
The natural history of the Turks & Caicos Islands unfolds in many ways, some we can see around us and some are hidden from view.
It is told in our geography and geology, the land and sea, climate and weather, flora and fauna, and the passage of time. These come together to make us what we are, to offer us our possibilities and our limitations. Grand Turk is also the home of the “first in the Caribbean” walking and driving birding tours. The salt ponds on the island offer visitors a unique opportunity to get “up close” to a wide variety of birds.
